Most states have rigorous academic standards for students in grades K-12. These standards define what students need to learn each year in language arts, history/social science, math and science. A standardized test is given to measure schools' and students' performance in these areas.
Designed for student use in the classroom or at home, our State Standards books are the only available study aids to present exercises that allow students to master each academic area on the test.
Each book is divided into "practical skill" sections that correlate to the various content standards. Each section is introduced with a statement of learning expectations in the practice skill area. Sections also contain tips and strategies to help the student learn the information through excercises.
Solid preparation allows a child to approach the test with confidence, able to say to themselves, "I know this stuff. I'll do great today!"
And they do!
